UP AYUSH Colleges Expansion
- The state government has directed the establishment of integrated AYUSH colleges in all divisional headquarters of Uttar Pradesh.
- Each college will house departments of Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy, ensuring holistic healthcare education.
- Yoga and Naturopathy Centres will be made mandatory in all integrated colleges, promoting wellness-based healthcare.
Infrastructure & Faculty Development
- New colleges will be equipped with modern classrooms, herbal gardens, Panchakarma centres, OPD and IPD facilities.
- The government has emphasized full staffing—appointing qualified faculty, specialists, and administrative teams to run these institutions smoothly.
- Colleges will follow academic guidelines under Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath AYUSH University (MGYGU), Gorakhpur to maintain high standards.
AYUSH Education Development in UP
- Integration with NEET Counselling: Admission to BAMS, BHMS, BUMS in UP is streamlined through UP AYUSH Counselling.
- Skill-based Learning: Practical training in hospitals, Panchakarma therapies, and clinical research is being prioritized.
- Expansion of Seats: With new colleges coming up, UG and PG AYUSH seats are expected to rise significantly, opening more opportunities for students.
Future Vision
